The airline is still trying to recover days after severe storms rolled through Atlanta, which serves as Delta’s hub.
Nearly 3,000 flights were canceled this week and there could be more.
Setting up the possibility for continued long lines and frustrations during one of the busiest travel weeks of the year.

“I asked them are you going to compensate for hotel and they say no, we can not do that sir. I can only do a rebooking.”
Delta has apologized and is refunding passengers with canceled flights.
The company’s chief operating officer called the storms that pounded Atlanta “unprecedented” and admits recovery efforts have not been ideal.
